Norwegian Lyd & Bilde magazine, the largest and most influential HiFi magazine in Norway, has awarded the projectiondesign Model One mk II a Gold Medal for 2004-2005, as the best buy in high end home cinema. Among the motivations for the award was that "Model One" shows an attention to detail few other projectors do along with having an incredible 3D image. Forget about a better image - even in a theatres!

The review

The record previously held by McLaren F1 was beaten by more than 15 km/h with a technically standard Koenigsegg CCR. The famous supercar test driver, Loris Bicocchi who is a veteran recorder breaker, drove the CCR.

This award is given to a person or organisation that has by action put Fredrikstad on the map, and promoted the city's interests nationally as well as internationally. Bård Eker is delighted with the award, and thanks his staff for the inspiration to press on to become one of the country's most succesfull entrepreneur. The award given to Bård last night was actually in its time made by his father Erling Eker.

The Australian rocker and movie star, Russell Crowe, best known for his performance in Gladiator, was out shopping with his one year old son, when Big Idea got their exclusive photos. The photos are published in their Christmas day issue. It seems that Bård Eker Industrial Design’s keen eye for design and functionality has caught on even amongst celebrities on the other side of the globe. Crowe has chosen the Stokke Xplory designed and developed by the Bård Eker design house, as his baby stroller of choice.
