Hydrolift believes in being Environmentally aware of our impact on the planet. We have and will continue to improve our production processes and our products performance to reduce our waste and carbon emissions. Below are some of the steps we taken so far.
DESIGN
One of the most important challenges that face our designers is to continually find ways to shave weight off the boats while increasing strength. Our boats and hull designs are among the strongest and lightest in there class. The extremely effective design of our two stepped hull also means the boats rise out the water sooner and at lower speeds. These two things, a high power to weight ratio and a effective hull design means you have more fun while using less fuel. |
DEVELOPMENT
Using state of the art development techniques, such as 3D CAD/CAM, CCM and CNC as an integrated part of our design and development process, we can work more effectively to reach our target and finished products. With this high efficiency we use less material, produce less waste and achieve better results. |
ENGINES
Working closely with our engine manufacturers we contribute to producing lighter engines with better fuel economy. Our development team is also working with application that improve performance and reduce fuel consumption. One of the most popular engines we use in our boats is the Mercury 6.2 petrol which has been awarded the 3 star Ultra-Low Emissions from CARB – the California Air Resources Board.

VACUUM FOIL INFUSION MOLDING
All our boat bodies, carbon and glass fiber parts are molded with an environmentally friendly vacuum foil infusion process. This process significantly reduces the exposure to styrene and minimises solvent emissions, whilst allowing production of parts with high strength and stiffness. This process also ensures we meet the highest quality standards for all our boats. |
GREEN HARD WOOD
We also offer renewable Norwegian Ash wood for the decks as an alternative to endangered Teak. |
GREEN OCEAN COATING
All Hydrolift boats are offered with the new environmentally friendly low resistant hull coating material "Green Ocean Coating". |
WASTE
At Hydrolift we do everything we can to reduce the amount of waste and scrap we produce by being more efficient and improving employee awareness.
All of our waste and scrap from both the molding department and at the final assembly plant that can be, is collected, sorted and taken away to be recycled. |
