Negotiator did not finish in last race
Sunday, 09 December 2007
doho_4.jpgNegotiator had a great start in this year's last competition but with the first race start abortet and red flagged by officials, it was Spirit of Norway who seized the immidiate advantage and Negotiator dropped this time from 4th position down to 7th. The Negotiator team finally got their speed up and worked their way up and back to 4th position again after 8 laps. Eager to finish off the season with a podium position Chris and Bård tried to hard and got a spinout on lap 9. Both the engines got filled with water and the team had to realize that the race was over. This was not the finish the guys were hoping for but they are at least happy to know that when the equipment is working they are driving very fast. For more information: http://www.class-1.com

Negotiator 4th in pole position
Friday, 07 December 2007
negotiater_25.jpgDuring the pole position race Negotiator showed a very strong performance. Being only 0.4 seconds behind the leader until the last lap when they were forced over a marker buoy ruining their last lap time. Bård Eker and Chris Parsonage were very dissapointed with their bad luck in the pole position race but are hoping to end the year with their best  finish of the season. "We are improving all the time. But it’s all about right set up and time in the boat. We had a difficult first three races, but we have now put three good results together and our target tomorrow is a podium" says Bård and Chris.

Saturday, 01 December 2007
n1_01122007163014.jpgAfter a very successful start from the fifth pole position Negotiator had a very good race in Dubai today. They made a small mistake by taking their two long laps consecutively which allowed their strongest competitors to get in front in clear water. But Negotiator with Hydrolift owner Bard Eker as Pilot once again showed that they are very competitive when everything works. With two consecutive pole positions the Negotiator team look forward to next week’s race also in Dubai.

Negotiator takes the Podium
Monday, 19 November 2007
doho_1.jpgAfter a troublesome week with reduced practice time due to 2 bad fuel pumps, and set-up struggles, the Race in Qatar last Saturday ended up to be this years best so far.

"From 7th start position, we had a good start, and worked our way up to 4th place.  We had some good fights with Jotun and Qatar 95, and this was a very good race for us," says Bard.

"Since Bjørn and Steve broke an engine at their position as number 2 in the race, we moved up to third position.  The boat was working perfectly all the way."

For a team that has been working so hard the entire season, the podium place felt like a nice reward.

Now, the team is moving to Dubai for the last 2 races for the season.  Here the team will change engines to new and fresh ones for the coming 2 events.
