 Hydrolift has bounced back after the fire that destroyed the entire production facilities. The fire on 3rd of August devastated Hydrolift and stopped all production. Since then Hydrolift has worked on finding solutions to start up the production as soon as possible. A brand new production facility is in the planning, and the production of the S-24 models will resume in three weeks time, whilst C-31 components are already being reconstructed. Hydrolift is now focusing on service and preparations for winter storage of customer boats. A service request form is available online for Hydrolift's customers.  At around 4.50 there were reports of a fire in the production fascilities of Hydrolift . The fire is still blazing, but there is no reports of injuries to personnel. However, the entire production fascilities seems to be lost. Hydrolift will return with more. |

 The Hvaler police were without a patrol boat after their previous patrolboat broke down. They approached Hydrolift which provided them with a brand news S-24 SUN. The local police seargent, Rune Jensen says the Hydrolift will be invaluable to their work in keeping the boat traffic under control. The police is leasing the boat until september, but a possible later purchase is not out of the question Hydrolift CEO Bård Eker says this is an interresting oppurtunity that might open for a new market for us.  The Swedish coast guard has ordered 3 Hydrolift S-24 as an addition to their existing fleet of small patrol boats, due for delivery this summer. One boat is already delivered and the boats will soon be seen in the Swedish skerries. The vessels are fully carbon versions of the S-24 fitted with the MerCruiser 6,2L V8 petrol engine with 320bhp. Hydrolift is proud of being the supplier to the high performance demanding Swedish coast guard. |

Both victories came in a convincing manner as the debut in Spirit Of Norway debut for Bård Eker impressed everyone.  The Norwegian Minister of Industry, Børge Brende was a guest at Hydrolift this friday. Brende met with Hydrolift in connection with their cooperation with Nortrade. Nortrade is the official norwegian trade portal, and Hydrolift has received several enquiries, through through this portal, on export and representation in several countries. During his visit the minister was given a presentation of Hydrolift/Ekerdesign Group and Nortrade, and representatives for Innovation Norway gave a speach on how Nortade would be utilized by Innovation Norway's foreign offices. |
