Per Nicklas Lööv Takes 3rd
Friday, 13 June 2008
per_1.jpgPer Nicklas Lööv (Citroën Xsara RWD) was a new face among the FIA Rallycross Cup drivers. As six drivers passed scrutineering and were allowed to take part in the event, it meant that for the first time the FIA Rallycross Cup was organised over more then one session in a qualification heat. Lööv, a Swede who lives in Norway and is driving with a Norwegian license, set immediately the fastest time in the official timed practice. During the first heats on Saturday afternoon held under the label "Wet Race" he set again the fastest time however, he finished behind Belgian Michaël De Keersmaecker (BMW 120) but the latter got a three seconds penalty due to a jump start. per_2.jpgper_3.jpgper_4.jpg
