For the first time in history of the FIA Rallycross Cup a 'B' final was organised during the event at Höljes. This 'B' final was won by Norwegian Hans Kristian Ask (Ford Fiesta RWD).
Afterwards it became clear that he used wet weather tyres while the sign "wet race" wasn't on. Ask got disqualified by the Stewards of the meeting and defending champion Jos Sterkens (Ford Fiesta RWD) was declared winner of the 'B' final and went on to the 'A' final. In that 'A' final he met pole sitter Per Niklas Lööv (Citroën Xsara RWD) and winner of the event at Momarken Ole Håbjørg (BMW 120) on the front row. Pointsleader Michaël De Keersmaecker (BMW 120) together with Łukasz Zoll (BMW 320) occupied the second row while Cato Endresen (Peugeot 207) was the last straight qualifier. Håbjørg won the start with Jos Sterkens immediately in second place from the last row. When Håbjørg was going into the joker lap in the third lap Sterkens became race leader. The latter was passed by Lööv and De Keersmaecker when he went into the joker lap. Lööv won his first event of the season ahead of De Keersmaecker. Sterkens came in third while Endresen was the last finisher in fourth place. Håbjørg and Zoll crashed their cars in the penultimate lap and didn't finish the race. De Keersmaecker stays in the lead of the championship after six events with 94 points. Sterkens is second with 78 points ahead of Patrick Mertens (VW Polo RWD) with 61 points.19911.jpgklö.jpg
